How can I see Hebrew web pages? City Wall Index

The single most important step in being able to view Hebrew web pages is to upgrade your browser.  Open your browser (Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape), and, in the top tool bar, click on Help|About.  This panel will tell you what version of the browser you are using.  For best support of Hebrew on your Windows/PC, get MSIE 5.5 or later here.  For best support of Hebrew on your Mac, get Netscape 6.2 or later here.  When installing either of these browsers, choose a full or custom installation, and choose any options offered for internationalization or language selection.

Now, when you visit a Hebrew web page, either it will display in Hebrew, or, if additional components are needed, you will see a pop-up window asking for permission to load what is needed.  Just follow the instructions.  A simple web page to try out with your updated browser is the Google search home page in Israel.
